We all know that a good night’s sleep is extremely important.
It can make all the difference when it comes to our health, our mood and our appearance.
In terms of the physical benefits, getting enough kip can get rid of eye bags, brighten complexion and leave you with clearer skin and fewer wrinkles.
But despite all this lots of us find ourselves staying up later than we planned to or watching one (or five) more episode of that addictive box set.
So what time do we actually need to go to bed if we want if we want to wake up looking better in the morning?
A new study has found the exact time we need to go to sleep, and what time we need to get up.
Sealy UK, the world’s number one bed brand, surveyed people up and down the country to find the ultimate bedtime.
They found that going to to bed at 9.45pm is the key to looking attractive, and we should be setting our alarms for 6.55am.
Research showed 60 per cent of people thought the quality of sleep has a positive effect on their physical appearance.
It found 44 per cent believed they had a better overall demeanour after a good night’s sleep.
42 per cent said they have brighter eyes and 20 per cent claim their skin seems clearer.
When it comes to wrinkles, 17 per cent said they had fewer when waking up after a good kip.
Neil Robinson, an expert on sleep at Sealy UK, said: "Many of us strive to look and feel good and spend a large amount of money trying to do so.

"This could include investing in a comfortable and supportive bed, creating a calm and quiet sleeping environment, or implementing a regular pre-sleep routine."
