No better way to kick off the weekend than with a big ole lipoma removal courtesy of Dr. Pimple Popper—am I right? *Right!*
On Thursday eve, Dr. Pimple Popper (aka Sandra Lee, MD) posted a video that’s so gross, so, err, squishy, that Instagram put a “sensitive content” warning before the clip. Thanks Insta for the head’s up, but, one thing’s for sure, you definitely are going to want to see this pop.
In the video, Dr. P begins by further opening the, well, already pretty large hole that you can assume she created (I mean you sure hope so—hello, she’s a doc!). As she does her MD thing—a.k.a. cutting and gradually opening—you can hear her say, “That’s what we’re always looking for, a nice pop.” Preach it, doc!

As the scene unfolds, she, a queen of empathy, makes sure the patient isn’t hurting and then apologizes for the noises. At this point, ladies and gentleman, I recommend shutting off the volume—especially if the sounds of cutting skin and squishy skin-to-lipoma contact aren’t your thing.
When Dr. P hands off the tools to her coworker, you might assume the pop you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived…
And…nope. Instead, the derm gets handsy—I mean really handsy, even telling the patient that “[she’s] going to manhandle—womanhandle you a little bit.”
You probably never knew these juicy details about Dr. Pimple Popper:
Using her gloved fingers, she digs deeper into the skin, clearly trying to find the best areas around the lipoma to grab the sucker and get ‘er out of there. But it’s no walk in the park.
If your volume’s off, here’s what’s going down audibly: Dr. P’s breathing is heavier and she even grunts with a full-on “grrrrr.”
Visually? There’s no denying that the derm is really working up a sweat. She tugs back and forth, then tries holding as much of the blob with one hand while digging the other fingers in around the sides. Toward the end of this fleshy tug-of-war, Dr. P puts one hand against the patient’s skin while the other grips the little bit of the lipoma that’s already come out and starts shaking. I repeat: She is shaking.
But it’s all worth it because out comes (!!) the stubborn AF lipoma that looks very much like a…THUMBS UP.
Yup, you’ll never be able to unsee a thumbs-up lipoma. You’re welcome.
