Tiffany Young Just Made Rosé Champagne Makeup a Thing — and I'm SO Into It

One of the classic ways to deal with a breakup is a dramatic new haircut, and singer Tiffany Young knows this all too well. To fully fit the fantasy of her brand-new song "Teach You," which is about putting a two-timing boyfriend in his place, Young cut her signature long hair into a chin-grazing bob. "I needed that post-heartbreak dramatic change, which inspired me to cut my hair short," she tells Allure. "I went for a more sophisticated cropped bob with fuller bangs and a darker shade."

But her fresh cut isn't the only standout beauty moment from the music video for "Teach You", which dropped on September 28. Young points out that she tried out some rosy-toned, glitter-flecked makeup to match her major hair transformation. You'll want to recreate all of them this fall. She also showed off several stunning ways to style a bob. Keep scrolling to check out not only my favorite hair and makeup moments but also Young's.

1. Flushed Cheeks

For the opening scene of "Teach You," Young is joined by some familiar faces: fellow Girl's Generation members Hyoyeon and Sooyoung. The mini-reunion paid homage to the K-pop girl group's classic look with a rosy lip stain, flushed cheeks, and subtle-yet-shimmery eye shadow brushed along their lower lashes. You can easily try out the look at home by dabbing the Peripera Ink Velvet Lip Tint in Dollish Beige Rose on the center of your lips and the apples of your cheeks. Then, you can sweep any shade from the Kaja Beauty Bento Bouncy Shimmer Eyeshadow Trio in Rose Water onto your lower lash lines.

2. Femme-Fatale Makeup

Young amped up the intensity for her second look — which I consider to be her femme-fatale moment — with a glossy ruby red on her lips. (The autumnal hue reminds me of the Nyx Butter Gloss in Red Velvet.) For her eye makeup, Young's makeup artist lined her lids with feline flicks and added some sultry depth with a raspberry-red shadow on her lower lids. You could find a similar shade called Risqué in the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Eyeshadow Palette, which recently won a Best of Beauty Award.

3. Textured Bob

"We did so many different styles, including shiny blow-outs, edgy waves, and messy ends," Young says. I particularly loved when her new haircut had some wavy texture to it. You can add some movement and definition to both straight and naturally wavy hair with a texturizer like the Ouai Dry Texture Foam (another Best of Beauty Award winner).

4. Rosé Champagne Eyes

"My favorite makeup look would be the scene during the bridge," Young says. "I had this rosé champagne tone on my eyes and cheeks." To create her eye makeup look, Young's makeup artist first applied a matte rose shadow, like Demure from the Huda Beauty palette. Then, glitter was tapped on top to give the look a multi-dimensional effect. Young's lashes looked super lush, too, with the help of "lots and lots of mascara" and long, individual falsies, she says. Her lips and skin were also kept dewy to match the overall aesthetic.

5. Copper Lids

As Young rips off the petals of a rose in a twisted game of he-loves-me-he-loves-me-not, I couldn't help but notice the terracotta orange shadow all over her upper and lower lids, giving her eyes a halo effect. Sandalwood and Trust Fund from the Rose Gold Remastered Palette will do the trick. The copper-toned look was complemented by a gorgeous deep rose hue swiped onto Young's lips. (Also, peep her pearly nail art.)
