Hey there pals, just your friendly relationship coach here to inform you that the first dating app targeted exclusively at tradies just launched in Australia.
‘Date A Tradie’, which is free and available on iOS and Android, is looking to give the hardworking tradies of Australia their own dating platform. If you’re single and ready to mingle with a gal or guy in high vis, then this may just be the app you need.
In the name of research and hard-hitting journalism we checked out the app this morning. Here’s what we learned…
Similar to other services, ‘Date A Tradie’ features a swiping left or right function, thought it operates on a sliding scale led by a love heart. Users can upload up to six photos of themselves, along with a video profile (which we dig, because it’s a nice way to show more personality).
Also, there’s a tradie of the month section which is… you know… something we’d like to see.
There are several fields to fill out while creating your profile, this includes your tagline, ‘about me’ bio and a cute section about your ‘ideal date.’
