Dose of Colors Is Dropping Another MAJOR Collab With Desi Perkins and Katy DeGroot

UPDATE (September 17, 2018 12:30 P.M. EST) It was just a little over a year ago when beauty YouTube moguls Desi Perkins and Katy DeGroot dropped their wildly popular collaboration with the Instagram-favorite brand, Dose of Colors, which literally sold out in less than one day. The duo's collection included three lipsticks, an eye shadow palette, and highlighters, all of which were very well-received by fans and left them wanting more from the influencer friends. Now, their followers are finally getting what they wished for with the launch of Desi x Katy, round two.

The news was announced via Dose of Colors' Instagram page, as well as on Perkins's and DeGroot's personal accounts, too. "Can we take A MOMENT and say #friendshipgoals ?9.24.18 #doseofdesixkaty," reads the caption on the brand's post. That's right, folks; you'll only have to wait one week for the chance to get your hands on this coveted collection. The two women, who by now are experts on what fans wants, weren't shy about sharing sneak peeks on their grids and Instagram Stories either, with both of them posting multiple videos and photos offering glimpses at the products, which will include a brand-new eye shadow palette and two lip glosses.

From what's shown in the posts, it appears the palette will feature high-impact metallic shades, including a gorgeous, glitter-flecked green-gold and sapphire blue, the latter of which the women are shown wearing in the promo image on Dose of Colors' Instagram. And as far as the glosses are concerned, it appears they will be bringing back an OG favorite from the first collection: the Over the Top gloss, which is clear with gold sparkle running throughout. "Of course we had to bring her back ??‍♀️," writes Perkins on a post in which she's shown smoothing on the shimmering formula.

Fans will be counting down the days until September 24, which is just seven days away and definitely worth setting a reminder for. If the last collection's success is any indication, round two is bound to be gone before you can say Desi x Katy. In the meantime, bookmark doseofcolors.com so you're ready to go.

In the nineties, best friends would express their love for each other with matching broken heart necklaces. (Is it too soon for that #tbt?) These days, YouTube stars are celebrating their friendship with something their fans can shop. Desi Perkins and Katy DeGroot, who is better known as LustreLux, collaborated on a makeup collection together for Dose of Colors, and the Desi x Katy Collection went on sale yesterday. With all the hype surrounding the collab on social media, the new lipsticks, palette, and highlighters Perkins and DeGroot teamed up on sold out in less than a day. Yup, every single piece of the six-part collection flew of digital shelves, including the $167 bundle with everything in it. People on Instagram and Twitter are loving it so much that they're begging Dose of Colors to make the collection permanent.

The people who were able to shop the Desi x Katy Collection while it was in stock were quick to add the palette called The Girls to their online carts. The $28 set includes four metallic eye shadows in neutral and bold hues. My favorite shade, in particular, is Turbosan. In the pan, it looks like a glittery black. However, when brushed onto lids, it actually is a eggplant with blue shimmer. Another highlight of the palette is two of the shadows were specifically formulated to use wet for the ultimate foil finish.

Dose of Colors announced on Instagram that the entire Desi x Katy Collection will restock next month on doseofcolors.com, including the palette and a blackened burgundy liquid matte lipstick that screams fall called Savage. Stay tuned for an official date and time.
